Cannot control image resolution in Lifecam twain settings

i'm using  lifecam camera in my own application (developed in .net)  with twain interface,the main problem is that it is not possible to control the image resloution or any other parameter when activating the camera from twain.The captured images using twain
are very small  640x480 , the camera can support up to 2m pixel when using the microsoft software that comes with the camera 
Is there any way to control the camera parameters  when runnig it from Twain ?
