Automatic sign in not working

I want MSN to remember my password when I sign in.  I don't like having to enter my password every time I want to get into MSN.  I tried using the Automatic sign-in feature in "settings" but that doesn't seem to work.   Why did MSN start re-directing me
to a new sign in page?
