BSOD after clean install of Windows 7 (during install of Avast),

So I was just installing Avast then, at the end of it (really, last moments when

iniciating the services) comes a huge BSOD.

Well, that's about it, I just got the minidump file and I hope that some of you guys
can help me find out what caused it.

Was it the new windows 7 Ultimate?
Was it the Avast?
Any drive?

I really hope that someone here could help me.

I'd really appreciate that.

PS : I went to Windows\minidump and copy and pasted the content to Desktop, then
made it available via dropbox (ZIP).

The BSOD was caused by the aswSP.SYS file, which is a system driver included in the Avast installation.

In this method we will try to Boot in Safe mode with Networking and see if the error still persists.

• Search "MSCONFIG" and Open.
• Click on Boot Tab
• Tick Safe Boot in Boot Option
• Select Network.
• Click Apply and OK.
• Reboot your System.
