Can't add or edit contacts on BT Yahoo e-mail with IE11

I run Windows 8.1 with IE11, my email is BT Yahoo.
I find that I am unable to edit any/all of my contacts page, i.e.
I can't add new contacts or edit any of my contacts details.
I don't have a problem if I get into Bt Yahoo through Mozilla Firefox  but it's a bit of a pain as I have my email shortcut pasted to my desktop screen, so is the problem with IE11 or with Bt Yahoo?
Any help or suggestions would be welcome.

I run Windows 8.1 with Bt Yahoo for my email and IE 11 as my default browser. My problem, is that when I am in my email and go to "Contacts" I am unable to add a contact or to edit an existing contact.
What makes me think that this is a browser problem is that if I go through the process of opening up Mozilla Firefox and then go to Bt Yahoo I find that there is no problem. It would be easy to say go through this route each time but I have my email
log in icon shortcut on my desk top screen to make it easier and quicker, so can anyone suggest what the problem might be please?

Recently i've done a routine chkdsk scan on my Acer aspire 4820T laptop, but chkdsk suddenly hang on stage 5 (98%) and reboot and i get error code "0xc00000f" NLS data missing or corrupt"...i've had a recovery disk but sometimes its take time to load to
the winre, but when i manage to get into winre i've tried the startup repair but it can't fixed the error automaticly, tried the command prompt Bootrec /rebuildbcd also did not get any joy..btw the os that is stated on winre is windows 7 home premium (recovered).....help
me pls....

i want to run a 42" monitor with an add-on touch screen in portrait format from my laptop. i would prefer the laptop screen be in landscape mode.

There is nothing in the UI preventing it. However, I suspect ultimately it will depend on your video card and driver.

If you failed to fix it, another option is to call Microsoft and walk through the process with a technician. To do this, dial "1-800-936-5700". The technician will be able to walk through the steps from getting a new product key to finishing the installation.

The system boots into normal mode without these issues.........this computer was once on a corporate network...........I noticed that when I click the F8 key to bring the system up into boot choice, I see text that indicates the keyboard is not connected
or some such words.......XP Professional with SP3....Dell Precision 360.....not very technical
